On her TV show she is usually seen from the waist up - cooking and sharing entertainment tips with her loyal followers.

But apparently the 70-year-old Martha Stewart knows how to party and this is the photographic proof.

The blonde media mogul was spotted leaving Roman Abramovich's New Year's Eve bash in St Barts this weekend barefoot, clutching her high heel shoes.



It's a completely different look for the home entertaining queen who is usually dressed conservatively, with all her clothes in order.

In fact she arrived at the expensive party looking poised and a elegant in a mid-length beige skirt, a cream blouse and matching cardigan.

But later on the grandmother ditched her high heels and stood on the dock waiting to board a boat.

The New Yorker was one of several celebrities to welcome 2012 as guests of the millionaire owner of Chelsea FC.

On Saturday night, Roman opened his French Caribbean paradise, the 70-acre Gouverneur Bay Estate, to 400 guests for a New Year’s Eve party.

The 45-year-old bought the property for £59 million in 2009, and has been enjoying the Christmas holiday there with his girlfriend Dash Zhukova, with whom he has a two-year-old son, Aaron.

He and Dasha took off to St Barts not long after he reportedly paid £90 million for a 15-bedroom house in London’s Kensington Palace Gardens that was owned by the Russian government during the Cold War.

This was the third New Year’s Eve party he has hosted on St Barts and perhaps the most extravagant - a conservative estimate of the bill is £5million.

According to sources in St Barts, the dress code for the party was ‘island chic’.

Roman's guest list boasted the great and the good from the world of celebrity.

Aside from Martha other party-goers included Rupert Murdoch and his wife, Wendi, director George Lucas and his partner Mellody Hobson and music mogul Russell Simmons with his girlfriend actress Melissa George.

Film producer Harvey Weinstein was also there with his wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman.

Eclipse – The World’s Largest Yacht

After spending an extended amount of time in Hamburg to undergo further sea trials, tests and adjustments, the 162.5m superyacht Eclipse left the world respected Blohm + Voss shipyard on December 9th and has now been successfully delivered to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.

The construction of motor yacht Eclipse started in 2006 and she underwent sea trials in May 2010 after years of design, development and construction. The massive yacht is believed to have sufficient space for 30 guests and a crew of 75. The luxury mega yacht also features a 16m swimming pool that converts into a dance floor, a personal submarine, two helipads and interior design by famous architect, Terrence Disdale. The Blohm & Voss built mega yacht reportedly has intruder detection alarms installed as well as an advanced missile defence system.



The delivery of the world’s largest yacht was originally scheduled for earlier in the year, although according to yachting industry sources, the yacht was returned to the shipyard to get rid of minor engine vibrations found during it’s sea trials, along with further work to it’s paint, helipad configuration and navigational system.

The long-awaited delivery of the yacht to it’s new owner is taken place in Kristiansand, Norway. According to reports, the yacht is currently headed to the Caribbean via the Cayman Islands, where it will have a permanent berth.
